Responsibilities
At Telus Health, I worked with the team to run tests on their health services application. These tests were crucial to ensure that the application worked as expected, bugs were fixed, and any new changes did not impact functionality. I worked directly with the developers to both create and debug over 100 test scripts. I collaborated with various teams to make improvements to the software.
I was unfamiliar with Python, Robot, and Docker at the time of starting the job. I was able to very quickly adapt, learn these new skills, and apply them to become very effective at my tasks.
Results
- Received Excellent performance rating – indicating all performance expectations in respect to output, quality standards, delivery of goals, and assignments were exceeded, and manager was delighted.
- Contributed to automated regression testing pipeline using Robot Framework and Docker.
- Implemented over 100 test scripts.
